Extraordinary work from an extraordinarily normal guy.
I'm a developer, designer, entrepreneur and overall swell guy residing in the heart of the midwest. I'm an obsessor over details and thrive on learning new things. My passion is working with talented people where I can use my expertise to cultivate engaging relationships on the foundation of a common purpose.
For over a decade, I've taken on challenging roles ranging from graphic engineer to lead developer for great companies all over the country. User interaction is the driving force in all of my work, whether it be pixel perfect design or strict web standards complaint markup; every detail matters.
Here's What I'm Up to Now
I spend my days working as a UX developer at Paylocity, a a human capital management software company based outside of Chicago. I create dynamic, interactive prototypes utilizing modern front-end technologies to develop new UX patterns for Paylocity solutions and provide implementation support to back-end engineers.
My side ventures include helping startups and agencies on a freelance consulting and development basis. Most recently I built and support a user-admin platform for Tap Teach and do ongoing contract UX and development for small to medium sized clients are the country.
My time off is spent enjoying time with my wife Jessica Spencer, our new boy Arlo and our three rowdy dogs. I'm also involved with and sat on the founding board of Springfield Creatives, a local non-profit helping the creative community here in Springfield.
